Greetings!

My name is Rashana Shanella Weerasinghe (it’s a long one, I know). I am the youngest of two, hailing from the exquisite island of Sri Lanka. I was born in Colombo, Sri Lanka to a Sinhalese mother and a Burgher-Sinhalese father. We were in Doha, Qatar for 7 years prior to moving to America. Here, I grew up on the East Coast across the states of Virginia, Florida, New York, now having landed in Connecticut.

Professionally, I work at the intersection of business and technology, with a focus on building automated processes infused with empathy. When I am not working, you can find me in the classroom as a University Adjunct Instructor or Early Childhood Educator.

Across my professional and academic domains, my work remains rooted in applying the altruism of technology, and the spirit of entrepreneurship to empower communities.

That’s a little bit about my story.
The rest is… unwritten 🙂
